My name is Sebastian Enhager. I have a Bachelor's degree in Peace and Conflict Studies (Lund University, Sweden) and soon a Master's degree in International Security Studies (University of St Andrews, Scotland). The primary focus of my studies has been concerned with conflict and cooperation as a result of environmental changes. My last project was conducted at the International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research (ICPVTR) in Singapore. During the summer of 2018, I had the fortune to work as a science communication intern at CIRC. With the task of constructing the communication platform and strategy for CIRC, I interacted with several different projects carried out in Abisko. Experiences and insight that I have brought with me into my Master's degree. I would recommend everyone to spend some time at the station no matter academic background. The experience at CIRC brings new perspectives and greater insights to climate research in the Arctic.
