I’m studying landscape ecology at the University of Muenster in my fourth bachelor semester. Since I started studying I got more and more fascinated by nature.
I can engage in contents of my study programme Landscape Management and Nature Conservation at the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development on a more practical level, deal with botany of the cold regions, widen my understanding of ecological coherences, and at the same time enjoy the great landscape of Northern Sweden.
April to June 2016, during my ERASMUS+ exchange to Umeå University, I got to spend two months in Abisko, when participating in the course “Arctic Geoecology”. As my personal interest in sustainability and climate change already grew before coming to Abisko, this was the perfect opportunity to combine both, my private interests and my research interests, in this hot topic.
