Planning Your Research in Abisko

There are several things that we would like you to do before you arrive at the Abisko Scientific Research Station (ANS).

• Fill in and submit your profile and project (s) information here.

• Will you need a field or lab assistant in Abisko? Request for field or lab support here (Request ). The deadline for field season requests is 23 February 2026. Note, that we try to be flexible for last-minute changes and updated needs.

• Find out more about the laboratory facilities at CIRC and ANS here.

• Find out about the instruments at the research station here.

• Find out about the field equipment (we are building this part of the website right now) here.

• Check the availability of the CIRC bus here.

• To be allowed to enter the station and use the facilities you need to: Register your project(s) at ANS each year and to book your accommodation, boat trips across the lake, and other ANS administered facilities go to ANS web page (link)
